Moody asked the Senate to recognize and celebrate the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, as they mark their 80th anniversary on April 24, 2026.

Moody stated that the Department of Homeland Security shutdown was in its sixth week due to Democratic colleagues blocking funding, that thousands of DHS employees had missed multiple paychecks, and that Democrats were using the shutdown to oppose border security measures implemented under the Trump administration.

Moody spoke in support of the SAVE America Act, which would require voters to provide identification, citing polling data showing 83 percent of Americans support voter ID requirements.

Moody asked for the yeas and nays on the McCormack nomination and voted yea for its confirmation.

Moody introduced the TRACK Act (Transparency in Recovery Assistance and Claims Knowledge Act) with Senator Alsobrooks to implement a status tracker on the FEMA website for disaster victims to monitor their claims progress.

Moody co-submitted Senate Resolution 571 to remember the December 6, 2019, terrorist attack at Naval Air Station Pensacola and commemorate those who lost their lives and were injured.

Moody moved for unanimous consent on the American Shores Protection Act, which would codify President Trump's 2020 moratorium on drilling off Florida's Gulf and Atlantic coasts.

Moody withdrew her unanimous consent request to discharge the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources from further consideration of S. 3082 in order to make a comment before resubmitting it.

Moody spoke about attacks on law enforcement and National Guard members, describing incidents involving Sarah Beckstrom and Andrew Wolfe who were shot near the White House, Sergeant Erik LeVasseur who was shot in Florida, and a National Guard major who ran toward gunfire with only a pocketknife to protect others.

Moody co-sponsored S. 3056, a bill to state the policy of the United States with respect to religious freedom in the People's Republic of China.

Moody rose in the Senate Chamber for her first time as a U.S. Senator to address the fentanyl crisis, stating that fentanyl kills 70,000 Americans annually and calling for law enforcement to be provided tools to remove the drug from streets, for lifesaving medications like Naloxone to be provided to first responders, and for those struggling with addiction to know where to get help.
