Ricketts co-sponsored Senate Resolution 716 expressing the sense of the Senate regarding critical elements of United States policy towards the People's Republic of China.

Ricketts requested that seven senators be added as cosponsors of S. 4134, a bill to amend chapter 131 of title 5, United States Code, to require certain restrictions on stocks for Members of Congress and their spouses and dependents, and requested that six senators be withdrawn as cosponsors of S. Res. 655, a resolution expressing support for the annual designation of the first Saturday after the Spring Equinox as "National Day of Play."

Ricketts described Nebraska's ongoing wildfires as the largest since the state became a state, reported that they had burned up to 750,000 acres and caused one fatality, and thanked firefighters, the National Guard, and neighboring states for their assistance in combating the fires.

Ricketts stated that the House passed 11 of 12 appropriations bills, thanked Republican leadership and the Appropriations Committee chairs, and noted that federal spending grew from $4.4 trillion in 2019 with a $900 billion deficit to $6.8 trillion in 2024 with a $1.9 trillion deficit under Biden's leadership.
